The player play as Nikolas, a boy enslaved by the Spartan Army, escapes captivity and embarks on a perilous journey to freedom. With courage and tenacity, Nikolas aims to reach the closest harbor, where a chance at freedom lies beyond the sea. At this level, the player had escaped a prison & is currently in a Greek mountain town.
Overview of Nikolas’ Escape Route
The Greek town is nestled beside a mountain that houses a prison. With a population in the hundreds, the town is home to nomadic Spartans and travelling merchants, serving as a crucial connection point and a resting place along the lengthy journey between a bustling harbor town and the capital city. Greek captives are often sent to this town’s prison due to its escape-proof confinement, until Nikolas escape.
To reach the edge of town without getting caught, player will need to leap across roofs
In this level, buildings are arranged in a way that allows for other routes. For the two examples above, there are two possible routes. On the left example, the easier way of leaping onto three ledges or secondly, the harder way of directly leaping from first building to last. The second route requires a pixel perfect jump to complete, however, it will reward players with a faster time upon completion. On the right example, the first route is the longer timed across buildings while the second route is a direct turn jumping from the first building to last.
