For my first Coursera project, I built an ordering menu app for a restaurant. I was the UX/UI Designer and User Experience Researcher. I created a fictionalized version of my favorite Greek deli, and I created an app that allowed users to order online, select pick-up or delivery preferences, or even utilize catering services.
These images illustrate navigating through the app when placing an order. The customer has the ability to personalize the app, access their order history, or easily change payment methods.
I laid out and built the wireframes, made decisions about visual aesthetics, and revised the prototype multiple times throughout project development. I worked with end users to identify pain points and gain insights on how to improve accessibility and functionality. Usability studies and analogous business research led me to create refined iterations of the app that were easier to navigate by being more accommodating, logical, and concisely designed.
