I started playing the bodhrán—a traditional Irish frame drum—when I was around four or five years old. I grew up playing primarily with the musicians who would later form Kitchen Session, and that early exposure shaped much of my musical taste and rhythm. My daily Spotify listening has also shaped my taste and rhythm, including edm, house, hip hop, bass music, dubstep, jazz, and more.
Bodhrán (or Irish Drum)
I have a Albert Alfonso blond bodhrán. I am on the list to get a Metloef bodhrán next!In high school, I joined the school band on flute, driven by a desire to eventually play Irish music on it. After about 2 years of band repertoire, mostly living in the overused second and third octaves, I made the switch to drum set and played that through the rest of high school.

I also sang baritone in choir and occasionally played bass guitar for chapel services. I’ve always been surrounded by instruments—guitar (both electric and acoustic), bass, keys, and others—but I wouldn’t say I “play” them all. I’ve experimented with slap bass (yes, I did learn the Seinfeld theme) and would love to spend more time with it and guitar in the future. For now, though, the bodhrán is still my primary focus.

Korg Triton Extreme 76 key
This was gifted to me by a friend, and while it has its quirks, I love playing with it!
