Membership

​There are two classes of membership in Beta Phi Mu: Regular Membership and Professional Membership. Regular Membership is extended by invitation only to recent graduates receiving Master's degrees in Library and Information Science (MLIS) and related degree programs. Degreed LIS professionals who are not already Beta Phi Mu members may apply to be considered for Professional Membership. Professional membership is granted from the national organization and new members can affiliate with the chapter of their choice.

It is time for our annual dues drive and membership update! Click the button below to go to the update form. You will be asked to pay dues if you haven't already, as well as to donate your own initiation fee back to BPM Lambda, donate a new initiate's fee, and given instructions on how to contribute to the Irma R. Tomberlin Scholarship. We appreciate any and all donations. Thank you!
