Membership

Regular Membership

Regular Membership is extended by invitation only to recent graduates receiving Master's degrees in Library and Information Science (MLIS) and related degree programs. Beta Phi Mu membership invitation letters are typically sent to potential initiates in February via email. 

Regular membership yearly dues: $25 ($50 for first-time initiates)

Lifetime membership dues: $250

Professional Membership

​Degreed LIS professionals who are not already Beta Phi Mu members may apply to be considered for Professional Membership.  This membership level is granted from the national BPM organization, and new members can affiliate with the chapter of their choice.

Professional membership yearly dues: $35
