On March 7th at 4pm, 19 members gathered at the Downtown Tulsa Hyatt Regency for the 2024 Annual Business Meeting & Initiation Ceremony. Dr. Buffy Edwards inspired attendees with a speech sharing her journey from being raised in a small town to leading the first OU in Italy SLIS study abroad program. 

The Lambda Chapter of Beta Phi Mu welcomed eight new members— John Gage, Maria Kindel, and Garrett Simpson, who attended the initiation ceremony, and Kayla Ashley, Misty Brodeur, Sabrina Denmon, Victoria Funk, and Amanda Hantzopoulos who were inducted in absentia.
