Welcome New Members!​

Regular Membership is extended by invitation only from the OU-SLIS faculty to recent graduates in recognition of outstanding academic achievement and potential for contributing to our profession. 

As of February 9, 2024, Beta Phi Membership invitation letters are being sent to potential initiates via email.  If you have any questions regarding your invitation or initiation, please contact our Secretary, Tyler Franklin at tyler.franklin@metrolibrary.org.

Wednesday, February 28, 2024 is the deadline for receipt of:

• your completed New Membership Form,

• your portion of your initiation fee,

• and your initiation ceremony registration/RSVP.

Your invitation to join Beta Phi Mu expires three years after the first invitation.

Beta Phi Mu Annual Initiation and Business Meeting 2024

If you choose to accept the BPM invitation, your initiation ceremony into the Lambda chapter will occur in person this year during our 2024 Annual Business meeting:

Thursday, March 7 at 4pm

Registration is required and the registration link is provided in the New Member Form linked through the button above. If you are unable to attend, new members may also be initiated in absentia.
