If re-elected, I hereby make 12 commitments to you for the 2026-2030 mandate:
1) I commit to implementing the measures contained in the 3-year crime reduction and prevention plan.
2) I commit to implementing the 64 fire prevention and fighting measures as soon as we can.
3) I commit to adding approximately 2,000 affordable housing units in Moncton by 2036.
4) I commit to eliminating 2 of the 7 existing segregated housing projects by 2030 and setting in motion a plan to eliminate the other 5 segregated projects by 2036.
5) I commit to ensuring that our water and wastewater systems are effective and efficient.
6) I commit to implementing the measures in the Recreation Master Plan and integrating all trails and regional parks.
7) I commit to convincing Council to build a community centre in the Salisbury Road area by 2030.
8) I commit to ensuring Council support for the construction and operations of the seniors’ centre on Limerick Street.
9) I commit to convincing Council to eliminate all surface parking lots and to transform them into residential and commercial buildings to accelerate downtown development and increase city revenues and the use of public transit.
10) I commit to reducing the tax rate every year (unless prevented by external circumstances).
11) I commit to find out why the majority of citizens do not vote, then implement measures that will increase our municipal voter turn-out to at least 50% by 2030.
12) I commit to proposing a Democracy Bylaw to force City Council to be more democratic and accountable.
