Wednesday, July 31st
Arriving in South Africa on Wednesday afternoon
The Rebbe davened Mincha/Maariv at Adas Yeshurun in Glenhazel
Thursday, August 1st
the Rebbe visited the students at Yeshiva College
He first addressed and greeted the Boys High School
Followed by a Sicha to the Girls High School
He then sat for tea with the Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Avraham Chaim Tanzer, who has been leading Yeshiva College for more than 50 years
followed by visits to classrooms in the Primary School
The Rebbe ended his first day by delivering the Thursday night Torah Lecture at Shomer Emunim
Friday, August 2nd
The Rebbe visited the Johannesburg Cheder where Rabbi Y.Y. Lewenstein is the Rosh Yeshiva
Later that afternoon the Rebbe met with and exchanged Sefarim with the Chief Rabbi of South Africa, Rabbi Warren Goldstein
Friday evening the Rebbe davened Kabbalas Shabbos and delivered the drasha at Ohr Somayach in Glenhazel. The Tish was held at the daughter and son-in-law of R' Emanuel Fishman
Shabbos, August 3rd
At Shacharis the Rebbe addressed the congregation of Shomer Emunim, followed by Seudah Shlishis at the Yeshiva College Shul with Rabbi Avraham Chaim Tanzer
The Melaveh Malka was held in nearby Sandton
with Rabbi Suchard and Rabbi Klein in attendance
Sunday, August 4th
The Rebbe gave a shiur on Sunday morning at the Savoy Shul
Throughout the day the Rebbe met with individuals by appointment in Glenhazel
The Rebbe davened Mincha at Kollel Yad Shaul
and Maariv at the Sydenham Shul
where he met with the assistant Rav, Rabbi Yehudah Stern, who lived for several years in Har Nof
Monday, August 5th
Rebbe davened Shacharis and shared words of Chizuk to Sha'arei Torah H.S.
Here is the Rebbe with the Rosh Yeshiva of the Boys High School, Rabbi Zaltzer
The Rebbe also spoke later in the morning to the Beis Yaakov, and the boys and girls of the Primary school in separate assemblies
Monday afternoon, Erev Rosh Chodesh Elul, the Rebbe led the Yom Kippur Katan minyan at the Ohr Samayach Kollel, and addressed the Kollel between Mincha and Maariv
At 8:30 PM the Rebbe met with approximately 60 college students at the Ohr Samayach Kiruv program known as Ohr-Some
Tuesday, August 6th
The Rebbe davened Rosh Chodesh Shacharis with the students of Yeshiva Meharsha and shared words of Torah before catching his flight back to Eretz Yisroel
