Our research encompasses the following major areas:
(1) Growth of various types of quantum materials and ultra-thin film magnetic multilayers by UHVS, PLD and 2d material heterostructures by exfoliation techniques
(2) Fabrication of the nano-scale devices using optical/electron beam lithography, Argon-ion milling and lift-off techniques
(3) Characterization including DC, RF measurements in a wide temperature range, FMR, spin-torque measurements, magnetoresistance measurements, and thermally driven spin transport, among others
(4) Micromagnetic simulation of devices is actively pursued in our group
Electronics instruments:
(1) Keysight SMU, (2) Keysight Nanovoltmeter, (3) SR-860 Lock-in amplifier, (4) Keysight RF signal generator (15 dBm, 20 GHz,), (5) Kikosui bi-polar power supply, (6) Function Generator, (7) DAQ from NI, (8) RF-components, etc.
