Opportunities
We welcome enthusiastic students from diverse backgrounds, including Electrical/Electronics /Physics/Material Science/Computer Science/Nanoscience/Instrumentation, who aspire to explore the fundamental physics of solid-state electronic devices. Feel free to reach out for an appointment via email, or drop by my office anytime I'm available for a chat.
For senior researchers, please apply with a CV and a cover letter (1-2 pages) outlining your experience, future research goals, reasons for joining my group, and the expertise you bring.
Students in the group will gain skills in thin-film growth, nanofabrication, and device characterization, enhancing their prospects in academia and industry. We prioritize a good work-life balance, job satisfaction, and offer continuous mentorship in my group.
ANNOUNCEMENT (Apply Now)
Currently, we have multiple positions open, one senior researcher and two junior researchers, who will be involved in the following research activities:
(A) Establishment of electronic instruments i.e. electromagnet, Kepco, and lock-in amplifiers using LabView/Python, to conduct a variety of spin-dependent measurements. An institute postdoc (IPDF) position is immediately available.
(B) Micromagnetic simulation and density functional theory (DFT) for studying spin dynamics and spin/orbital Hall conductivities in various materials.
