George Loves Games

Little George loved a game, it was plain to behold,

Especially Monopoly, a story unfolds.

He'd set up the board with a gleam in his eye,

Ready to conquer, beneath the blue sky.

While others picked thimble or top hat so grand,

George always chose the cannon, clutched tight in his hand.

He'd roll the dice, shouting with glee and with might,

"Boardwalk and Park Place, they'll soon be my right!"

He'd buy up the properties, swift and so keen,

Building his houses, the best ever seen.

His opponents would grumble, "Oh, George, not again!"

But he'd just grin and chuckle, from start to the end.

For he always won, it was part of his charm,

The Monopoly king, safe from all coming harm.

When the game was all finished, and victory was clear,

George had another adventure he held very dear.

His favorite place was Washington Park, cool and wide,

Especially the fountains, where water would glide.

He'd kick off his shoes, with a joyous soft sigh,

And run in the water, that splashed to the sky.

The jets on the promenade, leaping so tall,

George loved every drop, he loved them all!

So whether by board game or fountain's cool spray,

George found his own victories, day after day.
