Bold faced Beau

Beau loved summer, that much was true,

Especially when the sun shone, bright and new.

He'd leap from his bed with a joyful shout,

"Time for the pool!" no room for doubt.

The water, so cool, a sparkling blue,

Beau would splash and dive, all the day through.

With cannonballs grand and a powerful stroke,

He felt like a fish, never a joke.

His friends would all gather, with laughter and glee,

As Beau played king of the pool, wild and free.

But after the swim, as the day wound down,

The best treat awaited in Price Hill town.

He'd bike with a grin, a happy young lad,

To Bold Face Ice Cream Bar, the best place he had!

Chocolate or vanilla, or something more bold?

A double scoop cone, a story untold.

He'd savor each lick, as it melted so fast,

A perfect end to a day meant to last.

Beau knew in his heart, with a satisfied sigh,

Summer, and ice cream, would never run dry.
