Charlie's favorite tune

In a house filled with sunshine and laughter so sweet,

Lived a boy named Charlie, from his head to his feet.

With blond, bouncy curls, like rays from the sun,

And eyes sparkling blue, his day had begun.

He had a bright smile, and a heart full of glee,

As happy a child as you ever could see.

But what made Charlie truly a joy to behold,

Was a secret, a treasure, more precious than gold.

For Charlie, you see, had a gift, it was true,

A voice soft and clear, like the morning dew.

When he opened his mouth, a sweet sound would take flight,

Like an angel's own song, in the soft, morning light.

He'd sing of the birds, and the flowers that grow,

Of rainbows in puddles, and soft falling snow.

But the songs that he loved the most to impart,

Were the ones about Jesus, held deep in his heart.

He learned of His kindness, His love, and His grace,

How He walked on the earth, in a faraway place.

Charlie knew Jesus loved children so dear,

And His presence was always, so wonderfully near.

So Charlie would sing, with his voice strong and clear,

Of the stories of Jesus, for all to hear.

He'd close his blue eyes, with a joyful, sweet sound,

Knowing God's love was always around.
