how much does cvs pay in florida
CVS will first increase wages to $13 per hour beginning Sept. 5, followed by the final increase to $15 in July of next year.
A search of the CVS jobs portal shows 363 open positions in Orange, Lake, Osceola and Volusia counties. One downtown location shows three jobs, including cashier, shift supervisor and pharmacy technician, but the listings do not provide information about pay rates.
Several of the available positions allow employees to work from home or remotely, such as care nurses, pharmacy billing adjudicators and customer service call representatives.
Karen Lynch, president and CEO for CVS Health, parent company for the CVS retail stores, in a statement called the raise “the latest in a series of investments in our people, including bonuses and benefit enhancements throughout the pandemic.”
This makes CVS the latest large corporation to announce a wage hike for entry-level employees, following the examples of such companies as Target, Hobby Lobby, Chipotle and McDonald’s.
