New Proposed Lions Field Site Plan
Project Includes:
- New stadium bleachers & press box
- Improved parking & circulation
- Resurface the track and new turf field
- New ticket booths & front entrance to the stadium
- Upgrade bleachers, press box, and lights at softball field
- New softball & baseball restroom/concession stand & team rooms
Purpose for Upgrades:
- Volunteer hours are extensive may not always be available
- Bleachers/pressbox are over 25 years old and unsafe
- Limited parking and accessibility
- Defined entrance
- FACT: Currently spend over $35,000 per year on football field maintenance ($420,000 over 12 years). These costs do not include volunteer hours.

WELLNESS CENTER
New Wellness Center added to the south side of the high school. The facility will have its own parking lot & separate entrance from the school. Designed to allow for community use, when not in conflict with school use as well as provide additional practice space for school sports teams when needed.
Project Includes:
- 200 meter track
- Multi-purpose activity rooms
- Two hardwood courts & three multi-purpose courts
- Multi-purpose turf area
- Locker rooms & family restrooms
- Batting cages
- Lobby seating & coffee bar
** The School District is in Discussion with the city that would add the following city funded amenities which are available for community use:
- Suspended walking/jogging track
- Community Fitness area
- Indoor Playground & Children's area

Remodel the Media Center at Clear Creek & High school, as well as select classroom spaces
to allow for more collaborative/flexible spaces for staff and students.

A Special Election will be held on MARCH 3, 2020 to authorize the Clear Lake Community School District to contract indebtedness and issue bonds to build, furnish and equip a secure entry and improve, remodel and furnish the elementary: to build, remodel and equipment improvements to Lions Field Complex: to build furnish and equip additions to the high/middle school facilities, including Wellness Center and gym vestibule additions including a greenhouse and parking/sidewalk improvements. A YES vote of 60% is required for the measure to pass.
