Buy Dinner Tickets with your MTBA registration. Planning dinner or buying a sausage sizzle after racing for 6hrs until 8pm at night definitely isn't the best option for finely tuned athletes. So we have organised with our friends at Clarence Catering to supply a big pot of stew/pasta/casserole to fix your nutritional desires for a mere $10. There is Gluten-Free, vegetarian and meaty options, make sure you buy extra meal tickets for family or pit crew when you register.

Overview

For 2018 we are getting with the times and offering 2 awesome days of racing. The Saturday will start with a round of XCO format racing for all the age categories, with race times varying from 15mins to 1.5hrs dependent on category.

After a short lunch break and presentation the main event will kick off in the afternoon a 6hr XC endurance race running well into the darkness and finishing around 8pm. A quick presentation, dinner and drinks will be enjoyed around a bonfire to finish the night.

Sunday morning the race has been merged with the Adventurethon Demolish Forest Flow XC race. Gbomb entrants will complete 1 big lap of 22.5km. Then we'll finish up by lunch time with a final presentation and plenty of time for everyone to pack up and return home.

Format

  • Saturday Morning - XCO races (Juniors, open, masters, e-Bikes)
  • Saturday afternoon - 6hr XC Enduro (Solo: male/female open and masters Super masters and e-Bikes, teams: juniors, mixed, males, females)
  • Sunday Morning - 22.5km XC race (Juniors, open, masters, e-Bikes)

Cost

Event entry fees are listed in the table below there are some great multi-event discounts available.

An Early bird discount of 15% applies to all entries paid by 31st July 2018.

Special discounts may pop up on Facebook too, so keep an eye on it for discount codes.

MTBA race membership/licence is required, if you don't currently have an annual licence, you can purchase a day licence when registering for the event, or you can look at other membership options available here first: https://www.mtba.org.au/membership/

6hr Teams - categories.

When entering a team online there are 8 options for entering your team in the 6hr- see below. However placings and prizes will only be awarded to the following 4 categories regardless of whether there are 2 or 3 members in a team.
