School Holiday Fun with Escape ARTfest
This year the Escape ARTfest program of events starts on Thursday 4th and continues through to Sunday 7th with 4 huge days of exhibitions, live music, inspiring workshops, street art, artist talks, open studios, art market, street art, and much much more!
Opening Thursday 4th October 6pm in Milton with the Milton Gallery Walk, which will host many art exhibitions, interactive art installations, music, drama and poetry performances followed by the After Party at Coast Cafe with Mojo Electric!
Friday and Saturday 9am- onwards will see talented street artist known as ‘PHIBS’ enliven Ulladulla with his colourful creatures in a vibrant wall mural. Come check out one of the most respected and renowned names in Australian Street Art- Tim Phibs. Be sure to see the talented PHIBS in action in the lower level car park of Ulladulla Woolworths shopping centre, Friday 5 and Saturday 6 October from 9am till 2pm. A FREE event with full accessibility for all festival goers!
Friday night head to the beautiful Milton Theatre on Friday 5th October, 7:30pm. Escape ArtFest and Milton Theatre have teamed together to deliver Friday On My Mind - an evening to showcase music from three hugely talented bands- Three Hours South, The Swaggers and Winters End. The Art Market Saturday 6th October, 10am-2pm will be four hours of fun on the lawns of the Ulladulla Civic Centre. You’ll be entertained by local school performance groups such as drummers, as well as local dance groups and upcoming singers. The kids can engage in a host of free art activities including face painting, interactive art creations and a free artwork with local painters Kim Wall, and learn the techniques of Indigenous dot painting with Shane Snelson. Come and be creative with Wollongong’s Textile artist Stacie Sims, who was part of the City’s biggest arts and cultural festival Viva La Gong is set to treat Ulladulla with a fun and interactive art installation.

Come and Play Cricket
Junior and Master Blasters, Juniors, Seniors - there’s a game for boys, girls, mums and dads of all cricket interests and abilities. Whether it’s a quick blast on a Friday afternoon, a Saturday morning hit or a weekend of competitive cricket there’s a cricket game for you.

Farmers 5K
On Saturday November the 3rd it’s time to pull together, right now our Farmers are doing it tougher than any other time in living history. The Farmers 5K is a 5km walk, jog, skip or run along the beautiful Huskisson coastal path to support our local Farmers that are in need. We are aiming to raise $10,000 and all proceeds of the event will be distributed to local farmers by Rotary Nowra. Kids are $15 and Adults $20 a small gesture to support the backbone of our community. It will be a great community feel free to bring the pram and the pooch, this event is for the entire family.
