Outdoor Spaces

Outdoor activities play a vital part of every child’s development which is why they are incorporated into our daily activities for all children at Bolton nursery. We have many different outdoor areas for the children to use; an all-weather outdoor area providing daily free flow access for each age group, a spacious playing area to the front of the building with a wooden tree house, balancing equipment, bikes, scooters, sand and water, role play and mud kitchen. Our final area is a swing and slide set to the side of our main outdoor area. This is perfect for children to enhance their gross motor skills. 

We also like to make the most of what the local area has to offer and we can often be found going for walks to explore the local environment, at the park or on the school field.
