Pre-departure information

The climate of Milan is moderately continental, with damp, cold winters and hot, steamy summers. Milan also receives an abundant amount of precipitation, 37.2 inches per year, with this precipitation spread relatively even throughout the year. While both the fall and spring semesters offer pleasant weather, the weather is typically more pleasant in the spring than in the fall, making studying in the spring an excellent choice for students. 

Important Items to Pack!

• A copy of your important documents like your passport

• Your Gallagher health insurance information

• Change some US Dollars into Euros before you arrive or plan to use the airport ATM when you arrive. Take a card that doesn't charge international transaction fees.

• One or more adapters and power converters for 220 volts (if your electronics are not already "dual voltage") - European outlets are different!
