University housing fills up quickly (can fill within 10 minutes of the application opening). Apply right when the application opens to have the best chance at securing a dorm. If you are not able to get university housing, you will need to find private housing in Milan.
In order to apply for housing at Bocconi, students are required to complete a separate housing application, managed directly by the Bocconi Housing Office.
The Housing Office will contact nominated students before the housing application opens, providing them with all the relevant instructions on how to complete it.
For more information, check the Housing Office website.
The Bocconi housing department recommends a list of off-campus housing providers at this link: Other accommodation opportunities in Milan - Bocconi University Milan (unibocconi.eu) for students who are unable to secure a spot in the dorms.
If you have questions regarding housing, it is best to contact your housing provider directly. The Gies Global office has no authority over host university policy and procedure. If it is a situation where you are not getting a response, please let us know.
The University of Illinois has no financial responsibility with or authority over these private companies offering accommodation services. You are not required to use these companies.
