Music’sCool Musicianship Classes 2021/22
Music’sCool Musicianship Classes are a new and exciting offer from BMS aimed at students looking to develop their all-round musicianship skills. This will cover both theory and aural skills, delivered in a fun & interactive way! 9,000 Brent children are currently taught by our BMS Music'sCool team in schools. These classes will take your child's learning to the next level using the same teaching methods and aspects of the Kodaly approach. These classes are suitable for pupils in Yr.4+ and would be great for any students currently attending Bridge Orchestra or any Junior Ensembles.
Music'sCool Musicianship Level 1a - Tuesdays 5pm - 5:45pm (Zoom)
Music'sCool Musicianship Level 1b - Tuesdays 6pm - 6:45pm (Zoom)
Cost: £187 for 1 year (3 terms) includes a Sonor glockenspiel and case to support learning which can be collected from any of our Evening Centre venues in September.
Practical Theory at Grade 1&2 level
Aural skills (to help you score high marks in your practical exams!)
Gain a deeper understanding of rhythm, pitch and harmony.
An excellent introduction to music theory to develop a solid understanding for future learning
Learn alongside others in a practical and interactive online environment
Lessons will be delivered online via Zoom. Improve your musicianship from the comfort of your own home!
Weekly homework activities will be set using Google Classroom

Theory Classes 2021/22
We offer music theory classes for all levels and prepare pupils to take exams using either the ABRSM or Trinity syllabi.
Classes are on Wednesday evenings:
Grade 2: 5pm - 5:40pm
Grade 3: 5.50pm - 6:30pm
Grade 4-5: 6.40pm - 7:25pm
Cost: £165 for 1 year (3 terms)
