BMS Direct Lessons

BMS has no specific capacity to offer individual lessons outside of its school partnerships but in exceptional circumstances may be able to offer one to one lessons to pupils who meet all of the the following criteria:

1. The pupil must live or go to school in Brent.

2. The pupil must be a an existing active member of a BMS ensemble.

3. The instrument lesson requested must be for the same instrument the student plays in their BMS ensemble.

4. The school the pupil currently attends does not offer lessons on the instrument.

Each application for lessons will be approved by the Head of Service, on a case by case basis, subject to availability.

Lessons will only continue where there is clear evidence the pupil is making good progress.

Please be aware that BMS Direct Lessons may take place online via Zoom or Face to Face at our evening centres.
