Our community
There are several organisations that have shaped Blue Futures thinking and that Blue Futures supports with donations, funding, professional advice and volunteering.
We want to share them with you here so that perhaps they can inspire you as much as they have inspired us. We hope you will join us in supporting their cause in whatever way you may wish.
“ Instead of seeking success we should look for fulfillment. And fulfillment is giving total attention to the process of living. „

Captain Paul Watson has been an inspiration to us for environmental activism for many years. The Blue Futures team are active volunteers for the Captain Paul Watson Foundation UK through which we support Captain Paul Watson's effective agenda to defend life in the sea through a unique strategy of aggressive non-violence and intervention against illegal operations exploiting life in the sea.
As the original founder of Greenpeace and of Sea Shepherd, Captain Watson has become the world's most iconic anti-poaching and anti-whaling strategist.

They collaborate with diplomats, politicians, lawyers, corporate leaders, NGOs, indigenous and faith groups, influencers, academic experts, grassroots campaigners and individuals to this end.

“ We are the voice of the ocean. Campaigning for a thriving ocean, thriving people. „
Surfers Against Sewage began life 30 years ago as a response from the surfing community to the shocking state of our coastline. Back then, anyone who ventured into the water often found themselves swimming in raw sewage. There are tales of sanitary towels on heads and human poo sandwiched between bodies and boards. Enough was enough.
