We did not see examples of intellectual property, as there was no mention of who was running the point system. We do see an example of inferred intellectual property, when Lacie has trouble with charging her car because of a different shaped port. Apple is in a similar situation, with the lightning port.
There is a lack of government involvement in privacy concerns because the rating system essentially does the work for them. There is little need to have government surveillance, as every point abiding citizen will act as the camera. Criminals will be docked and identified with the combination of the retinal implant and the rating system.
In the movie, there is no signs or examples point to the Network security part. People are posting their interesting personal life on social media to get as many 5 stars as they can. There is no need for hackers to leak more information.
There is an example in the movie relates to the computer error which is that Lacie's rented car can not auto-drive due to the system failure. However, it is a very minor technology in the movie. There is no examples in the movie about computer error leads to the point system failure. Therefore, we think that this chapter does not work here.
