The BIG(i mean BIG) castle build log

Well! Here is the start of a brand new moc! The big (I mean BIG) castle! Well, not really ~48x48 :D I hope to put in on lego ideas and get 10k votes :D First some planning with Studio

Then the base! It will be irregular at the front

Let's dig into the irregular base! Fun? YES!

You can definitely tell this is my style :D! Looking great? YES! Haha! And there's a secret in the rocks (watch video)

There's always the rebellious! (their trying to get to the treasure room). I loved how it turned out! Photo 2: Little bit of a problem - a big bit of rock will soon fall out eek! That minifigure looking very barbaric? YES!

The upper creek and the SNOT technique waterfall is in. And the animals arrived today - they are celebrating that the waterfall is in. The second photo is showing the snot waterfall connections.

Little bit of cliff detail for the irregular base. Nice touch? Yes :D

Meanwhile - on the back I thought I should have some more underground rooms (this time not barbarians :D) Wondering about the gear rack and bookshelf - you'll have to wait!

As you might be able to tell, the moving of the bookshelf triggers the GOLD CAVE to open

Using tiles to create a smooth tilt for the gatehouse. And I'm also finishing up the landscaping...

Putting in mechanism the pecking chicken (pecking chicken? YES!) Second photo: So close with the tan bevel gears to the ramp!

More prototype pecking chickens and video of function:

Now DBG retaining wall and dark tan path

Now, were onto the wall! I used various techniques to make the wall textures. I may show the techniques later ;) And the archway using 4x4 macaroni bricks.

And a DBG and DB SNOT door on the rear

Portcullis... IN!!!

If you spin the waterwheel, wa-laa you have a mill stone spinning! It was so fun making it. I used the waterwheel technique that I did in my "Medieval Houses"

It's time to put in furniture... NOW! I was onto the little house.

House finished with the roof. The hinge bricks hold on the roof

More coming soon ;) .....
