Are you having trouble getting you chapter's investment clubs to sign up for your chapter's Visit-A-Club program? Ron Cox from North Carolina Chapter sent out this Interspire and you can judge for yourself how successful his campaign was by viewing the North Carolina Chapter's web page on the BI website.
To: BetterInvesting Individual & Club Members
The North Carolina Chapter of BetterInvesting is contacting you to request your club’s participation in the Visit-A-Club program. Individuals looking to visit in an investment club will be able to view contact information about participating clubs at the North Carolina Chapter’s Visit-A-Club web page.
We hope you will consider sharing what you have learned from BI by welcoming visitors to your meetings. The visitors might be someone who wants to learn about investment clubs or it might be members from other clubs who would like to observe how your club operates. The Visit-A-Club program is simply a networking opportunity for the North Carolina Chapter's investing community.
In addition, people who live within 15 miles of where your club meets probably have no idea that there is an investment club in their community. Our chapter frequently receives requests from BI members who have relocated to North Carolina and would like to know if there are any nearby investment clubs. The NC Chapter cannot give them any contact information about your club unless your club participates in the Visit-A-Club program. Your club does not, however, need to be looking for new members to participate.
There are two sets of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) available on our chapter’s website: FAQs for Clubs and FAQs for Individuals. These should provide some useful information for you. There are other documents available for individuals looking to visit a club.
Limited club contact information (club name, contact name, email, location and composition) for participating clubs will be posted on the BetterInvesting North Carolina Chapter’s Visit-A-Club web page.
We look forward to your participation in this program to help others become successful, educated investors. By the way, the NC Chapter has received several requests from new and active BI members who have moved into the Wilmington and Charlotte areas and are looking to visit a club within 30 miles of these cities.
If you are interested in visiting local clubs, please check the North Carolina Chapter's participating clubs list. We will be updating this list frequently.
