A number of BetterInvesting chapters across the country are planning events in support of Money Smart Week taking place from March 30th through April 6th 2019. Money Smart Week is a public awareness campaign designed to help consumers better manage their personal finances. This is achieved through the effort of hundreds of organizations across the country coming together once a year to stress the importance of financial literacy, inform consumers about where they can get help and provide free educational seminars and activities throughout the week. For more information go to www.moneysmartweek.org
With more and more BetterInvesting chapters participating in Money Smart Week, the home office has asked that we provide them information specific to our chapter’s level of participation. Doing so will help facilitate the communication of BetterInvesting organization-wide participation in the program with the folks at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago responsible for organizing Money Smart Week.
We need let the home office know if we are planning to participate in Money Smart Week, including the date of the event, presentation title and location. We need to send our information to Dennis Genord at dennisg@betterinvesting.org
To support our efforts the following Money Smart Week documents have been added or updated in the Invest Better Campaign section of the New Member Growth channel in New VR.
