Postdoctoral Positions
We are inviting applications for postdoctoral fellows in the areas of bioinorganic chemistry and biophysical chemistry. For Bioinorganic Chemistry, candidates with a background in Chemistry, particularly synthetic inorganic chemistry and spectroscopy, are encouraged to apply. For Biophysical Chemistry, candidates with experience in protein biochemistry, molecular biology, and experimental biophysics are preferred.

PhD Positions
We welcome applications from enthusiastic and motivated students for PhD positions in both bioinorganic and biophysical chemistry. Applications can be submitted through the IIT Kharagpur PhD portal, which is open throughout the year. A valid NET or GATE is necessary. Individual fellowships, such as those from CSIR, UGC, DBT, ICAR, INSPIRE, and similar programs, are warmly welcomed.
Additionally, the institute offers the Director’s Platinum Jubilee Excellence Ph.D. Fellowship (DPEF), which provides a fellowship of ₹80,000 per month for the first two years and ₹90,000 per month for the subsequent three years for candidates with a top 50 GATE rank.
