IIT Kharagpur is equipped with a Bruker ELEXSYS E580 X-band pulsed EPR spectrometer, capable of operating in both continuous-wave (CW) and pulsed EPR modes. The instrument is complemented by a cryogen-free cryostat, enabling measurements over a temperature range from 4.2 K to room temperature.
In addition to the CW EPR, pulse EPR experiments such as echo-detected field sweep (EDFS), relaxation measurements (T1 and T2), Electron Spin Echo Envelope Modulation (ESEEM), Hyperfine Sublevel Correlation (HYSCORE), ELDOR Detected NMR (EDNMR), and double resonance techniques like Pulsed Electron Double Resonance (PELDOR) / Double Electron Electron Resonance (DEER) can be performed with this instrument.
Please do not hesitate to contact me or the Central Research Facility at IIT Kharagpur if you plan to conduct EPR measurements at Kharagpur.
