Project that will aim to manufacture new materials for peri-implantitis with regenerative and antimicrobial properties.

December 2022: Research stay of Prof. Alejandro Castro at the University of Barcelona (UB) in the research group of Stereoselective Synthesis of Antiviral and Antineoplastic Agents.

This stay will help to obtain the ligands obtained during the undergraduate thesis of the student (currently a pharmacist) Roberto Rodriguez..

5th December 2022: Participation in SOFARCHI 2023, event organized by Universidad de Magallanes, Punta Arenas. Prof. Castro poster presentation with the title "Exploring macrocyclic nuclei in beta-tubulin models as possible candidates for microtubule stabilization".

November 2022: Postdoctoral stay of Dr. Daniela Vergara at the Institut de Química Avançada de Catalunya (IQAC).

Dr. Vergara joins the Lipid Biophysics and Interphases research group of Prof. Olga López.

Sept-Oct 2022: PhD Claudia Sanhueza short stay at the University of Barcelona

In vivo trials of the FONDEF+IDeA project of prof. Francisca Acevedo.

22nd July 2022: Celebration and end of term 2022!

We wish our students Constanza Marquez (Cony) and Roberto Rodríguez (Tito) all the best for the oral presentation of their theses.
