BioActive Fluids

BioActive Fluids is a UK-based initiative to maintain and strengthen connections in the international research community in Biologically Active Fluids, and Biological Fluid Dynamics, developing from the Biologically Active Fluids Special Interest Group of the UK Fluids Network.

Who is involved?

There are around 200 subscribers from around the world, in particular the UK, Continental Europe and the USA. Our scheduling of 16.00 UK time corresponds to 8.00 on the US West Coast, 11.00 on the US East Coast, and 17.00 Central European Time. We also schedule seminars from time to time to accommodate speakers in East Asia.

We encourage speakers to record seminars for both catch-up by those who cannot join at the scheduled time due to timezone or other commitments, and to provide a permanent resource for students and other researchers.
