This website was made by Charlie Watkins (he planned and fundraised for the trip). The Henry Morris Awards covered most of the costs but Charlie raised some extra money, too. Charlie's dad came with him (and he paid for himself).
The reason why Charlie did this trip was to explore the cycling infrastructure in the Netherlands, to improve cycling ability and to visit another country. Charlie enjoys cycling and he has done lots of long-distance bike rides with his dad before. He decided to cycle to another country because the Henry Morris Awards offered funding for this sort of thing at his school. This report will tell you all about the trip in detail.
