We woke up at 8:00, had breakfast in the hotel, then left.

We started cycling towards the campsite and saw a lot of cool windmills along the way.

The windmills were very interesting to see and they are very traditional in the Netherlands.

Cyclist Traffic Lights

Usually, cyclists have right of way and cars have to wait for them but, sometimes this is not possible. Here is one of the many cool traffic lights for cyclists to cross the road.

Entering Leiden

This town in the Netherlands has the oldest university, known as Leiden University. The town is also famous because it was where the iconic painter, Rembrandt, used to live. We saw his work in the Rijksmuseum.

We got to the campsite and had plenty of time to set up camp and make dinner.
