This website was made by Charlie Watkins (he planned and fundraised for the trip). The Henry Morris Awards covered most of the costs but Charlie raised some extra money, too. Charlie's dad came with him (and he paid for himself).
Charlie cycled 320 miles to Amsterdam and back in 2023 to explore the cycling infrastructure in Holland and to improve his cycling ability. Charlie enjoys cycling and he has done lots of long-distance bike rides with his dad before. He decided to cycle to another country because the Henry Morris Awards offered funding for projects like this at his school. This report will tell you all about the trip in detail.
