I am Cadet Captain Connor McDonald of the Blythewood Bengal Battalion. I am 18 and a senior. I am currently serving as the Company Commander of Alpha Company but in the past, I have also held positions of squad leader, platoon sergeant, and platoon leader. At Blythewood, I am on the Raider team and also swim and play lacrosse. Outside of school I have achieved my Eagle Scout, attended the Palmetto Boys State, and help with community service through my church.

Hi, my name is Izuchukwu Emetu, I am the Alpha Company Executive Officer (XO) for the 2021-2022 school year! I'm currently in my junior year of high school and this my third consecutive year in JROTC. I have been on the Drill Team my freshman and sophomore years as well as on the leadership team my junior year. I have held the positions of S-5 rep. squad leader, platoon sergeant, platoon leader, and Bravo Company XO. I have a step brother who is in the military who has taught me alot. My goal for this year is to make sure all of the administrative duties of the company are done and assist the company commander with any task as well as oversee and help my staff reps. As I am in charge of rosters, email updates, company information etc. I will keep on pushing myself to be better every day to make life better for my company and being respectful to everyone with communication and hard work. It is safe to say I enjoy the class very much. I'm looking forward to this semester as I know it's going to be great! Let's make the best out of it no matter what comes our way!

Hi, I’m Tashara Williams, 1SGT for the best company, Alpha company! Outside of the classroom, I participate in Color Guard and Drill Team. I enjoy teaching other cadets and building them up to be the leaders they truly are. I enjoy the program because of how friendly and family-oriented it is. Bengal Battalion is a family and this is going to be a great year for us! HOOAH
