While I'm a firm believer in constantly moving forward, hindsight is a wonderful thing we have as part of our cognitive toolbox. As per ENGL 546 - Studies in Journalistic Literature - I was reminded of that when I looked back on a minor event which significantly impacted me. Kentaro Miura's Berserk resonated with me and millions of others for years, and to hear the news of him leaving us so abruptly was shocking. It reminded me how uncertain the world is - especially with understanding of the Uncertainty Principle. This paper allowed me to express the creativity I never could in physics while using metacognition to improve in the future - not only as an educator, but as a person also. I understand anything can happen, and as a teacher I'd like to understand a bit more where my students come from. Given my classes and I form a bond of respect and trust, I know I can lead the way for the next leading scientist.
