A Memorable Morning at BGS National Public School, Hulimavu, Bengaluru!
What an inspiring and enriching morning it was at our much-anticipated Author Meet programme! We were deeply honoured to welcome the distinguished writer and Guest of Honour, Ms. Amrita Gandhi, the celebrated great-granddaughter of Mahatma Gandhi.
The atmosphere in the BGS NPS Auditorium was truly electric as Ms. Gandhi captivated the audience with her brilliant storytelling and engaging narration from her insightful book, Royal-ish. Students and faculty alike were enthralled by her unique perspectives and heartfelt anecdotes.
A highlight of the morning was the warm and thought-provoking interaction between our esteemed Principal, Dr. Malini M. Dutta, and Ms. Amrita Gandhi—an exchange that left a lasting impression on everyone present. Ms. Gandhi also shared rare and fascinating stories from the life of Mahatma Gandhi, as told to her by her father, offering our students a deeply personal glimpse into the legacy of the Mahatma.
Further enriching the session, Ms. Gandhi engaged in a lively Q&A with our students, sharing insights into her literary journey and her passion for travel.
Her presence deeply resonated with the ethos of our school: "Service to Mankind is Service to God." The event was a true celebration of learning, literature, and legacy—an experience that will be cherished by all who attended.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to making this event a resounding success!
