You can request deletion of your BeWithMe - (Elders) account and the personal data associated with it. This page explains how to submit a request and what happens after deletion.

To delete your account, email us from the address or phone number linked to your account:
linh.directfunder@gmail.com
Please include:
Subject line: Account Deletion Request - BeWithMe Elders
Your registered phone number
Your role in the app (Guardian or Elder)
Confirmation that you want your account permanently deleted
We may contact you to verify your identity before processing the request.
When your account is deleted, we remove or anonymize data linked to your account, including:
Profile information (name, avatar, phone number, user role)
Guardian–elder pairing and connection data
Chat messages and chat-related media you sent
Notifications and activity reports associated with your account
QA profiles, reminders, and wellness activity data
Emergency contacts, events, plants, novels, and other content you created
Subscription status stored on our servers (active store subscriptions must be canceled separately in Google Play or App Store)
Firebase push notification tokens linked to your account
We may retain limited information only when required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as:
Subscription purchase records required for tax, accounting, or fraud prevention
Server logs kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting
Information we are legally required to keep
Any retained data is kept only as long as necessary and is not used for marketing.
We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
Deleting your BeWithMe account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play or App Store subscription. Cancel your subscription before or after requesting account deletion:
Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
iPhone: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
