Birding in cemeteries is well known. There are many webpages that discuss this including: The Ins and Outs of Birding With the Dead from the National Audubon Society and Cemetery Birding American Birding Association. Beverly has several cemeteries that are open to the public to respectfully walk along the roads and paths. Most of these are managed by the city's Cemetery Department while others have no public access.
In eastern Massachusetts there are two notable cemeteries for birding. These are Mount Auburn in Cambridge and Greenlawn in Salem. These are both special spots during the spring migration.
City Cemeteries
Beverly Farms Cemetery - 100 Haskell Street
Central Cemetery - 60 Hale Street . An eBird hotspot.
North Beverly Cemetery - 685 Cabot Street. This cemetery has a variety of habitat as it boarders some wetlands. My experience is this is the best cemetery in Beverly for birding.
Abbott Street Cemetery - on Abbott Street between the First Parish Church and the Beverly Fire Department
Dodge's Row Cemetery - no public access
Private Cemeteries
Sons of Abraham Cemetery - 18 Cole Street. No public access, however, views are available along Cole Street and the old Beverly Community Gardens.
St. Mary Cemetery - 106 Brimbal Avenue
