Dear Betty Sutherland Stewards,

Yesterday we got really lucky. The weather worked out way better than expected - it rained the night before but we were in the clear, with the sun poking through the clouds by the end of our session! We had the largest group since our clean-up in April: 10 stewards in total! And the pictures below will speak for themselves for how much was achieved over the course of 2 hours (and how much fun we had!).

Special thanks to everyone who has contributed many photos including: Angie, Marlene and Gary. Eliza was also kind enough to take lots of photos of our group at the end. We worked really well as a team, and played many roles. Some focused on tree removal, such as Eliza, Patrick, Mario, Gary, Karen and Angie. Others worked at the equally important job of cutting the larger pieces into smaller ones for bush piles and diligently removing the berries and roots, such as Geri, Melanie, Marlene. Everyone contributed and took turns using the extractigators or cleaning up berries and branches. Thank you to everyone for giving your all, braving the potential storm, and working so passionately to make a huge change in our park!

Special thanks to Gary who drove to pick-up the extractigators last Wednesday, as well as tested them out beforehand and gave us an awesome demonstration so we could get started quickly!
