Dear Betty Sutherland Stewards,

Thank you for spending the morning with us yesterday. It was really nice to connect, meet new people, and enjoy the beautiful weather together.

We managed to collect a total of 8 garbage bags! Plenty more space for new plants to grow now. We also had plenty of positive feedback from the community, as many volunteers received thanks from the public visiting the park. Some of you may have noticed that 3 students expressed interest in our work, so we also may have 3 new potential volunteers.

Gary and I will keep you posted of our next event. In the meantime, I have started a google photos folder, and have just changed the settings so that anyone can view and add pictures to it. Feel free to add to the folder anytime we have events. Special thanks to Marlene for the high quality pictures of everyone from yesterday and Angie, who volunteers with the Toronto Nature Stewards in other ways, but also joined us for stewarding yesterday. I have also attached our site plan, to better understand the boundaries of our stewardship.
