Terms of Use
Effective date: 28 September 2026
Effective date: 28 September 2026
These Terms of Use apply to the website currently published at https://sites.google.com/view/betstopinfo
By using the website, you acknowledge that BetStopInfo is an independent consumer explainer. It is not a gambling operator, wagering intermediary, government body or the official BetStop service.
BetStopInfo explains, in plain terms, what people usually need after they have already started looking at national self-exclusion: how to read the first days after registration, what to have ready before the official form, and how exclusion periods work.
It publishes general information about BetStop and related Australian consumer-protection rules. It does not accept bets, hold wagering accounts, process gambling payments or give personalised betting recommendations.
Content is general information only. It is not legal, medical, psychological or financial advice, counselling, a recommendation to gamble, a recommendation to use a particular wagering provider, or a betting strategy.
Individual circumstances may need a qualified professional or confirmation from BetStop, ACMA or another authority.
BetStopInfo does not accept wagers, operate accounts, handle deposits or withdrawals, issue odds, give tips, rank bookmakers, distribute promo codes or earn affiliate commissions from wagering.
A reference to a wagering service appears only where needed to explain a consumer or regulatory point.
BetStopInfo is not BetStop, ACMA, the Australian Government or a state or territory gambling regulator. Official registrations, complaints and account matters go through the official service.
Legal and regulatory statements are meant to rest on primary Australian sources and to carry fact-check dates where the rule can change. The site does not guarantee that every page stays current after that date. Use the linked official source when relying on a live requirement.
A law can be enacted before it commences. Pages distinguish rules in force now from provisions already enacted but not yet commenced. That split matters for the Interactive Gambling Amendment (Gambling Reform) Act 2026, parts of which are scheduled to commence on 1 January 2027.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. The Australian Consumer Law includes rules on misleading or deceptive conduct. BetStopInfo aims not to mislead about independence, sources or services.
Links to BetStop, ACMA, legislation, OAIC and Gambling Help Online are to independent sites. A link is not ownership or control.
Original text and structure on BetStopInfo are protected by applicable copyright law, principally the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth). Government and third-party materials keep their own conditions. Ordinary quoting and linking are fine. Substantial republication may need permission unless an exception applies.
BetStopInfo does not guarantee a personal BetStop outcome, a provider timetable, a successful complaint, eligibility for a particular official process, or any gambling or financial result.
To the extent permitted by law, BetStopInfo is not responsible for loss that arises only from relying on outdated or incomplete general information instead of confirming with the official source. Liability that cannot legally be excluded stays excluded from this clause.
Content may change, pause or come down for corrections, legal updates or maintenance. Continuous access is not guaranteed.
Do not interfere with the site or its security, attempt unauthorised access, submit malware, use the contact form for spam or abuse, or impersonate someone when asking about personal information.
Personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. Contact is through the Contact page form. There is no published correspondence email in these Terms.
The site is intended for users in Australia. These Terms are read subject to applicable Commonwealth law and, where relevant, the law of the Australian State or Territory connected with the user or the dispute.
The effective date at the top is the current published version.
