The Berkeley Metro Swat Division is an elite tactical division, that specialize in priority scenes, hostage rescue, and tactical operations. We are comprised of the most skilled and resourceful officers in the department, tasked with deescalating scenes that have already reached a boiling point. 

What will you be trained In?

Advanced Medical

Our officers are trained advanced first aid including intravenous treatments. These are designed to allow our officers to save more lives and make sure the maximum amount of people leave alive, including officers, hostages and suspects.

Advanced Driving

Our SWAT officers are trained advanced driving and pursuit techniques such as aggressive PITs, Heavy vehicle handling, aggressive driving, and higher speed response. This allows us to apprehend all suspects at scenes, and make sure justice is served, whilst protecting the lives of all.

CQC and Breaching

SWAT officers must be masters in CQC and Breaching techniques in order to work efficiently and fulfil their duties. We will teach you how to clear rooms and buildings with civilians on site, and elite entry tactics that you will find no where else.
