Advanced Driving Certification
Welcome to the Advanced Driving Certification,"So what is this certification?" Well, the Advanced Driving Certification educates our officers in advanced tactics and information in how to catch some of the most dangerous drivers in the state.
As a holder of the Advanced Driving Certification you must rise to the expectations of the public. As a holder of the Advanced Driving Certification you must abide by 'S.A.F.E'.
S. Safety, whilst pursuing a vehicle, the publics safety must be at the forefront of your mind.
A. Access, whilst in a pursuit you must access all factors, to decide if a pursuit should continue.
F. Fatalities, It is your job to limit the chance of fatalities.
E. Evaluate, evaluate when it is time to use more 'risky' tactics.
DUI Certification
The DUI Certification certification. DUI can also be referred to as Driving Under the Influence, usually of drugs or alcohol. In this certification you will be taught how to conduct possible DUI stops, and how to use your equipment to figure out if someone is Driving Under the Influence.
Whilst using your certification skills you should remain vigilant, act quickly, and go through the whole process. As a holder of this certification you should be careful, and act quickly as the quicker you get a drunk driver off the street the better the streets become. This is a careful process, and make sure to not skip anything.
