MINERAL WATER TASTE BETTER

Different brands of mineral waters have unique taste and specific mineral compositions. Either still or sparkling, and are bottled at the source. This has become the main reason why mineral water has different cost rates.

This also contributed to the distinctive entity of mineral water in the form of the respondent’s perspective and opinion.

Based on the survey that we have collected through a Google Form, 18 out of 61 respondents have agreed that mineral water has different mineral composition while 34 out of 61 respondents have chosen that the taste of mineral water is the most important element in their preferred mineral water brands.

Tap water, electrolyte water, filtered water, distilled or deionized water, alkaline water, and mineral or spring water are some of the options but many will definitely choose mineral water for a healthier option.

Narmatha Sivakumaran, 21, one of the 55 respondents, personally believes that mineral water has more health benefits compared to potable water.

She also mentioned that Spritzer is her favorite go-to mineral water through the survey prepared by Berita DIMENSi.

Mineral water is bottled at the source such as underground reservoirs, unlike tap water. Mineral water is preferred by some people because of its perceived purity and lack of chemical disinfection procedures.

It may be subjected to some preparation. Adding or removing carbon dioxide (CO2) gas, as well as hazardous compounds like arsenic, are examples of this.

In mineral water, CO2 helps to prevent oxidation and bacterial development. The CO2 in naturally carbonated water comes from the source. Manufacturers can also add CO2 to their water after it has been extracted.

As we can see for simple differentiation, our country’s Ministry of Health (MOH) gave out the orders that all natural mineral water must have color caps and potable water must have white caps on January 1, 2005.

This explains why mineral water has a variety of colors for their bottle cap such as green, blue, red and pink.

Medical News Today article also stated that it is true that specific mineral composition differs among mineral water itself.

Mineral water, as the name implies, is rich in minerals, particularly calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, bicarbonate, iron, and zinc.
