Universal Rules for Bench-a-thons

This list of rules applies to all bench-a-thons on this website. This list is subject to change and will likely be updated over time.

  1. Cell phone images and videos will not be accepted for benchmark results. For screenshots, simply use the "PrtScn" key. For videos, use proper capture software. There are plenty of free options such as OBS, Radeon Software, and Nvidia Shadowplay.

  2. Fraudulent benchmark results will not be accepted and submission of such results will result in the suspected user's permanent ban from all bench-a-thons.

  3. LOD tweaking is not allowed. If suspected, you will be asked to provide sufficient evidence that you did not in fact tweak the LOD. If found guilty, your results will be deleted and you will be banned from all bench-a-thons.

  4. Updated submissions are allowed, but they will only be accepted if they meet one of the following criteria:

(i) The updated submission result is at least a 1% improvement over your result on the leaderboard.

(ii) The updated submission increases your ranking on the leaderboard.
