Submission Instructions

A valid submission has two main components: Confirmation of stability via HCI Memtest and performance via AIDA64's Cache & Memory Benchmark. The details for submission are detailed below for each part. A submission will be in the form of a screenshot.

I. Stability: HCI Memtest

In order to verify stability for submission, you will need to download a version of HCI Memtest. You can do so from the following link:

https://hcidesign.com/memtest/

There is a free version, a Pro version for $5, and a Deluxe Version for $14-17. In the sample screenshot further below, the Pro version was used. However, the free version is sufficient for submission. In order to test stability properly for submission, you must meet the following criteria

  • You must run as many instances as you have threads. For example, if you have a Threadripper 3990X, then you need to run 128 instances.
  • You must test at least 85 percent of your total system memory.
  • You must pass at least 400 percent coverage in ALL instances with ZERO errors.

Once you have passed at least 400% in all instances, you can stop the test, but leave Memtest running since you will need it for your screenshot. Your screenshot will need to show that there are zero errors, as well as an indication that the criteria above are all met.

II. Performance: AIDA64

To evaluate performance, we will be using AIDA64's Cache & Memory Benchmark. You can download a free trial of AIDA64 here:

https://www.aida64.com/downloads

Once you have installed AIDA64, go to Tools and select "Cache and Memory Benchmark." You only need to run the Memory Read and Latency portions of the benchmark, but you can run all of it if you'd like. Leave the results open for your screenshot.

III. Validation

You will need to submit a screenshot that includes ALL of the following:

  • HCI Memtest results with the criteria detailed in Part I.
  • AIDA64 results with the criteria detailed in Part II.
  • Two instances of CPU-Z: CPU tab and Memory Tab.
  • Intel Only: ASRock Timing Configurator tab.
  • AMD Only: DRAM Calculator for Ryzen tab.

Below is a sample screenshot that constitutes a valid submission. Note that the "Mainboard" tab in CPU-Z is not required, but more information is always welcome.
