Bench-a-thon Central - Horizon Zero Dawn

Submission Instructions

All new submissions must use Game Version 156 or newer.

You will need to purchase Horizon Zero Dawn for PC to participate in this bench-a-thon. Below are the instructions to participate. Please read the instructions carefully before submitting benchmark results.

I. Settings

There are four leaderboards for the following resolutions and presets:

1920x1080 Ultimate Preset

2560x1440 Ultimate Preset

3840x2160 Ultimate Preset

5120x2880 Ultimate Preset

The correct preset must be selected for your submission to be considered valid in this bench-a-thon. Also, under Settings > Display, make sure you have the following:

Adaptive performance FPS: Off

FPS Limit: Unlimited

Render Scale: 100%

Below is an example of these correct settings:

II. Video of Results

Important: Cell phone recordings will not be accepted. Use proper recording software on your PC.

A video submission of your benchmark results will be required, as the benchmark results screen is not sufficient to verify the correct settings were used. For example, resolution scale and adaptive performance are not shown on this screen. Please follow the steps below for your results video:

Step 1: Before running the benchmark, verify your settings are correct.

Step 2: Run the benchmark. At the end, your results will be presented.

Step 3: Begin your video recording once your results are presented.

Step 4: Back out of the results page with "Esc" and confirm with "Enter."

Step 5: Once you are back to the Settings page, show the Graphics tab, then the Display Tab.

Step 6: End your video recording.

III. Submitting Your Results

Submit your result(s) using the Google Form below. Your score will be added within a week of the submission date.
