Holiday Craft Fair

Hello, and welcome to the official page for The Ben Ali Shriner’s Holiday Craft Fair. We are happy you have found us here!

The Craft Fair, formerly known and the Ben Ali Shriner’s Bazaar, was started in 1969, as a way for the Ben Ali Ladies to fundraise for the Transportation Fund. The clubs and units that comprise Ben Ali, would set up a table and sell their favorite crafts, foods, gift baskets and much more in hopes to help support the continued mission to help children and their families get to and from hospital visits at no charge. Over the years, members of Ben Ali Shriners, had single handedly created a successful and popular craft fair experience to the community, all the while fundraising for the Transportation Fund.

In 2023, Ben Ali started to host professional vendors alongside the Clubs and Units.  Vendors who purchase space, allow us another way to draw crowds, as well as provide a contribution to the fund, with a purchase of their space. We welcome vendors to fill out an application early, as they do fill up quickly due to the popularity of the craft fair and reasonable rates. The Transportation Fund is a Ben Ali Shriner’s program that assists children and family to get to and from the hospital for doctor visits and hospital admissions with no cost to the family. When it comes to assisting families, Ben Ali wants to take the stress and anxiety out of patients and their families by providing this much needed service so they may get the best care and outcomes. The fund has helped, and continues to provide specialty vans to accommodate the needs of the family, airplane tickets for those from outside the area, emergency medical transports and much more.

The Ben Ali Shriner’s Craft Fair is held once a year on the first Saturday of December at the Scottish Rite. Hours are typically 8:30-2. The address is 6151 H Street, Sacramento, CA.
