Wrecking Crew

Formed in 1928, The Wrecking Crew has the important responsibility of taking care of the candidates at Ceremonial.  They construct, install, and operate the many clever devices that assist worthy candidates in the traditional journey across the “hot sands.” The ingenuity, resourcefulness and skill of the Wrecking Crew makes them a valuable Unit of Ben Ali. The Wrecking Crew Supports the Northern California Shriners Children's Hospital and attends all Command Parades.  You will easily spot them in one of their bright red fire engines - 1922 Model T and 1973 Crown. The Wrecking Crew also stages social functions throughout the year for its members and guests including their annual Crab Feed and Ladies Night.
